I live in Toronto, Ontario. I live with my partner of 11 years. I also have a 12 year old son. I have been writing since I was young. I write short stories, articles and poetry and longer manuscripts. I have been writing for Allwrite online magazine for sometime. I have won Poetry Choice Awards from, The National Library of Poetry. I attended a convention in my youth where I won medals for my writing. I have had a poem published in Webster's Online Dictionary. I have been published in Poetry Canada Magazine and Ambitions. My Oasis

I dream of a beautiful oasis, a quiet serene escape.
I can see it in the distance, like a mirage in my aching eyes.
I am going there ever so slowly it seems.
My legs will not hold the pain, flowing through my body.
There is an ethereal mist all around me.
I am here finally, my oasis.
The pain I felt is gone.
This feels like heaven, and the angels sing for me.
The wind gently caresses the earth.
I can rest now, I am home.

A fantasy garden...

Open the garden gate
Butterflies float gently on the breeze as they flutter by
Emerald tones of grass blanket the ground.
Rose's trail and twist on the broken trellis.
Petals glisten and radiate rainbow blooms
Tiny birds flit across your path
The sun warms your face.
This is utopia
Open the garden gate
